We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content Marketing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will create comprehensive content outlines, generate AI-written articles, edit human-written and AI-generated articles, and ensure all content is optimized for SEO best practices. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and editorial skills to produce high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives traffic and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit content to meet editorial guidelines.
Develop strategic content outlines to guide AI content generation.
Write original, SEO-optimized outlines for human-written content.
Use AI tools and platforms to generate well-written articles.
Edit and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, coherence, and consistency with brand voice and tone.
Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
Collaborate with the leadership team to align content with overall strategy and business objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends, AI writing tools, and SEO techniques to continuously improve content quality.
Optimize content with internal links and keywords.
Provide writer feedback to enhance the quality of content.
Additional projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of editing experience
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
Experience using AI writing tools
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and a strong grasp of grammar and style
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Adaptability to evolving technologies and writing tools.
Ability to think strategically and create content that resonates with target audiences.
Familiarity with Clearscope
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)

If selected for the next stage of the hiring process, you will be asked to complete a short SEO editing assignment and sample article outline. This will involve copyediting and testing of your SEO skills. This test will not be published and is unpaid.

Contract Renewal: Likely

Compensation: $22/hour

Job Type: Contract

Benefits: Flexible schedule

Schedule: Minimum 20-hour/week commitment during regular business hours.
